Day 1
You began with a group activity on the plane. You then looked at the needs and wants of humans. You viewed a short video and participated in an activity. Now your stranded with only a journal to talk to. You start your journal entry by talking about all the things that are around you on the island, and what the first things are that your going to do. Don't forget to include what you learnt about needs and wants on the plane!
Open the journal and begin your entry. Once you have finished your journal entry don't forget to save it as Island_Journal_YourName.
Day 2
You are hungry and thirsty but how do you know what is safe to eat and where can you get water from.
Use these websites to research about the different food groups and how to find water. Create and inspiration document to brainstorm your research. Once you have done that write your day 2 journal entry. Don't forget to describe the 6 food groups, what foods you need to stay healthy, report what you found for food, explain how you found and collected water.
Day 3
Last night you had the worst sleep ever! You decide you need to build a shelter to protect yourself. Using the links below, research the different types of shelters, materials you could use, and how to make your shelter. Remember your on an island so your don't have bricks or cement to help build your shelter. Create an Inspiration to brainstorm your ideas and then complete your journal entry for day 3. Remember to describe the island materials you used, what type of shelter you built and how you built it. Don't forget to illustrate your work!
